Laura is your classic outdoors woman. She’s a lifelong surfer, who grew up playing in the waters of the Atlantic and the marshes of Cherry Grove. This is her home, and she loves to share it with others. Camping, canoeing, kayaking, four wheeling, and….roller derby (ask her about it), if it’s active, Laura loves to do it. Oh, she’s also a high school broadcast journalism teacher during the daytime at the largest school in the area.

Jamie is a beach kid! Growing up along the Grand Strand, Jamie began is water adventures early, learning to surf and fish at an early age. His love of camping, outdoors, and adventure began with the Weeblos. He is currently working on his Eagle Scout Rank and has chosen to improve the waters of our region as his project. Jamie’s the guide with the books, maps, fish and bird identification charts, and detailed knowledge of the history of your paddling area. In short, he’s a very unique techie outdoorsman.

A native of the North Myrtle Beach area, this make-up wearing, fancy dressed girl has spent a lifetime digging clams, fishing in the marsh, surfing the beaches, and paddling the local waters. She may look sweet and pretty, but she can keep up with the toughest boys. Bailey is also an actress and singer, it’s almost a guarantee that you’ll catch her singing several times during your trip. Bailey is great with the smaller children in your group and her cheerful personality is infectious.
